About Tina Adolfsson

Tina Adolfsson is a strategy and go-to market executive with demonstrated analytical and operational skills, with strong results in implementing technology tools and scaling efficiently. Tina has extensive experience in launching and scaling consumer goods as well as fast-growing startups. 

 

Tina started her career in premium brands at Procter & Gamble, working on Pantene, Olay, Tide/Ariel, Always, Hugo Boss Fragrances and more. She was the Director of Strategic and Financial Planning for Global Blades & Razors at The Gillette Company, providing financial leadership and support for media investments and new product introductions (Fusion, M3Power, Venus Vibrance) in a highly competitive retail space. 

 

In the past few years, her focus has been on the blend of data and tech impacting the retail space, leveraging Fortune 500 skills and new retail / analytics technologies for consumer product growth brands. At Survey.com, a mobile-enabled distributed workforce bring clients’ retail and merchandising goals to store shelves. Data, analytics and the gig economy have been re-imagined for retail, bringing speed, scale and cost optimization. Tina is leveling the playing field for growth brands, and offering flexibility and nimbleness to established brands, by creating distribution, retail presence and sell-through strategies.

 

Tina is also an angel investor. She has invested directly into companies such as Flying Embers, an organic/sustainable alcoholic kombucha, or  Kosterina, an olive oil company from Greece. Tina also invests indirectly via investment groups such as Portfolia, a leading venture investing platform designed for women, Branch Venture Group, a network of investors, as well as TBD Angels, an angel investor group. 

 

Tina’s career goes far beyond her professional achievements and her investments in startups. She is also involved in philanthropic initiatives dedicated to fostering women’s leadership. She was also the founder of AIESEC’s Africa SwITch Initiative, a highly regarded program that brought college students from around the world to teach IT skills to high school students in Africa.

 

Tina received a BA in Political Science and Spanish from Tufts University, an MBA cum laude from the Babson Graduate School of Business, and was honored with the Global Mandate award by Babson’s Center for Global Leadership.
